Bernardo Ruiz‘s new film, Harvest Season follows the lives of several people–Latino entrepreneurs and workers–through a year of wine-making in the Napa Valley of California. It shows the depth of the art of wine making at every level, from the vine-pruner to the connoisseur to the entrepreneur. The film will be shown at the CCA on Saturday, February 9, at the CCA, as a fundraiser for Somos Un Pueblo Unido. (For tickets, click HERE.)
And we talk to Marcela Diaz, executive director of Somos Un Pueblo Unido, about their priorities in the current New Mexico legislative session.
