Jal Mehta is an Associate Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He’s a deep thinker about improving education, and about the many communities in the US in which schools are addressing problems of both education and society. An acclaimed educator himself, he speaks and writes with empathy and understanding about the challenges that the US education systems face, and what steps a state like New Mexico can take to challenge and engage our students.
