David Krakauer is president of the Santa Fe Institute, a research institute in the hills on the outskirts of Santa Fe, where the professors don’t have students and are free to work on questions in the science of complexity, across disciplines including physics, archaeology, ecosystems, urban studies, language, and economics, to name a few. In today’s program we talk about what the concept of limits in science, from mathematics to evolution to artificial intelligence.
